Küberit with “PPS-Magic” puts in incomparable hatch (lift-up) profile system to unfold 7-16mm thick hard floor coverings that joins the technical advances of bolted assembly with the optical advances of a clip profile- the bolted assembly stays invisible after the installation has been completed.

Owing to the perfect optics, the simple laying and the time installation, the profile system individuates itself of any such kinds.

The product along the advances, while entering the residences sets on the enhancement of PPS-Magic and also, it offers the integrated LED lighting. The user is able to tune the desired colour by himself: blue, red, green or white. With the help of the integrated lighting, the layer also achieves an optical and security relevant benefit.

Küberit: More safety in public and commercial buildings – Angle edge profiles with LED-lights

Well visible and slip-resistant stairs are a “must” for every operating company of public and commercial areas with a high volume of visitors, like cinemas, senior residences, rehabilitation centres or cruise liners, where safety aspects play an important role. Küberit designed for this application area, two new angle edges with a tuned LED-technics, which is presented for the first time in the Domotex 2008.

The new profile type 890 of aluminium is 60 mm wide and is 45 mm high. Before the installation of the profile the filament is introduced in a synthetical tube, eligible in different colours. Afterwards the tube has to be pushed into the channel under the profile. At least the wires have to be connected on the LED-Driver, which is also available in two types. With this profile, the LED-Light is installed dazzle-free but offers enough light to illuminate the stair edges and steps.

Also, on the new Küberit aluminium profile type 891 (37 mm width and 21 mm height) the LED-lights are located in the edge of the profile. The filament is introduced in the same synthetical tube before the installation of the profile. Then, the tube is pushed into the channel, which is on the top of the profile in the edge. After the connection on the driver, the illuminated steps offer an optimal dose of safety.

Both stair edging profiles can be applied for the laying on textile and elastic coverings as well as for parquet and laminate. The profiles are counter-sunk drilled and fluted on the surface to avoid any slips. The profiles are available in the finish aluminium polished and the anodized colours silver, gold, sand, bronze and stainless steel. The LED-covers are offered in the colours blue, red, green and white.

With the new stair edging profile type 890 by Küberit the LED-lights illuminate enough from the bottom-up to recognize the steps in dark rooms like cinemas in order to avoid stumbles.
