The floor of the station has been furnished with Vitras tiles designed for the visually impaired.
Vitra Architec, which has been developed for professional use in industrial and commercial venues, has been introduced at a metro station. The stations floors have been furnished with a product named Tactile which was designed especially for the visually impaired. This product has two different textures, one meaning “go” and the other meaning “stop”, which helps show the way. Therefore with these contrast tones, the problem of misorientation due to color blindness also disappears.
There are also new products from the Urban Life series, which are used in the flooring and exteriors of buildings such as shopping centers, ofices, hotels, and stores. This series has aesthetic features that protect them from frost, wearing, scratchs, stains and have easy furnishing and maintenance properties. Porcelain series which are preferred in residences also attract the attention of the consumer.
1x1 cm mosaics which give you an chance to create paintings on your walls also have won the approval of consumers. These mosaics that portray one of the paintings of Vitras designer Ferruh Başağa has greatly intrigued audiences with their extraordinary appearance.
Another product series that stands out is the Architec Pool which has been designed for swimming pools. With its rich color and shinyness options this product is produced with a porcelain technique and has a water absorbtion of under 0.05%. They come in sizes from 2.5 x 2.5 cm to 12.5 x 25 cm and have complemental pieces.
