The company which entered this industry from Gaziantep, has only new successes on its mind. Sedat Bingöl, the Data Processing Director answered some of our questions.
Could you give us an overview of Bossan Carpet?
Bossan Carpet entered this industry with a woven material called the Kutlu fabric in 1950. In 1980 our company widen its activities into different fields of the carpet sector. We have also put in great efforts to develop the carpet sector in Gaziantep. In 1993 we became more professional and following new technologies we have moved ahead in the sector. In 1998, the company made a decision to construct a fully integrated company and in 2000 it built its own polyproplen yarn company in the industrial district of Gaziantep. This was honestly a very important move for the company. Keeping this in mind the company has taken its place in the world market supplying customers with quality products using its highly technological weaving rooms. Our company was founded by Çetin Bostan. We have 3 companies which work on production and marketing (Bossan Textile, Uğur Demir Carpet Industry and Çetin Bostan Group). Our companies are directed by Halit, Mustafa, Şevki and Mehmet Bostan brothers.
Could you tgive us a overview of your products?
We have a very wide range of products. Some of these are: Heatset hand-made carving, heatset flat, bcf, bcf machine-made carving, acrylic bcf, shaggy, super shaggy, p.p viscose.
What are your targets for 2008?
Our aim is to increase our production capacity and range of production in order to reac a wider market in 2008. Also, we are investing in research and development. We are reay for anything that might come to us.
What is your annual production capacity? What is you
inner and outer production shares?
Our annual production capacity is 9000.000 square meters. 90% of our production is aimed at the outer market and 10% of our production is aimed for the inner market.
What countries import from you? Do you have new
We export our products to the Far East, America, Europe, Middle Asia, and Africa. In total, we have 36 countries which we export too. Our target is to export our products worldwide.

We attend different fairs in the world. We try to attend these fairs and organizations as a visitor. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We try and see everything through our customers eyes. Design, color, size and quality are our criterias and we try and move in the same direction as our customers.
